F?rstenberg, four main chapters, the sermon by the city deaconess during the reopening of St Mark's Church on 20th Dec. 2009, a list of deacons and male and female priests at St Mark's [1945-2010], acknowledgements, a list of authors, and an index of persons. Part I [F?rstenberg] deals with St Mark's between the Restauration and modern times [1954-71], divided into the post-war years, the period of reconstruction, and the way into modern times. Part II [Schenk] is concerned with the development 1971-85 under the aspects of a new beginning in 1971, the diaconia since 1867, theology and being a priest, the redecoration of the church in 1977, the young, church music, and parish history. Part III [Ruhwandl] treats the topic of "St Mark's parish discovering its future" [1985-2005], e.g. by the situation of the church in 1985, new initiatives for a break-up of the Protestant Church in 1995-6 and by establishing profiles of ecclesiastical work [1996-2000]. Part IV [Schulz] informs on the church building and the parish development, e.g. on "church in the city" and the rebuilding of the church and its community centre.
