The analysis focuses on the students' experiences in their family environment, their educational trajectory and academic experience; the development of strategies for coexistence or confrontation in the face of possible situations of segregation or neglect, as well as mechanisms for reinterpreting black identity throughout life; and the problematisation of the quota system as a conditioning factor in this process. This is an important dialogue for understanding quotas beyond statistics and performance measures.
