Enrica Patria Pugliese is a retired professor of Classics in high schools. As a friend and student of John Chadwick, famous for his collaboration with Michael Ventris in deciphering Linear B, she corresponded with him from 1985 until his death. With his encouragement and support, she devoted herself to the study of Linear A. This book is therefore dedicated to Chadwick and contains numerous excerpts from their letters. She currently lives in Milan.
