The Companion Book guides the reader to meet the Starlight Dragons in their own world of dreams and imagination presenting the cards in a number of 'travels'. We visit the minor arcana or pips each in the world of their element, the Dragons of the Court cards allow us a rare visit to their 'miraculous palaces' and insights into the workings of their powerful energies. Finally, the Empress is our guide on our own "Fool's Journey" through the 22 Majors, where we meet the mythic, magical Starlight Dragons and begin to learn the lessons they have to impart.
The record of a lively conversation between Nora and Steph brings us the 'artist's view' on the process of designing the deck, artistic decisions Nora had to take in an intense collaborative evolution, transformative also for ouselves.
The book is rounded off by a section on practical work with the deck, ranging from spreads designed or adapted to the specific innovative format of the deck, for which won one of the Tarosophists Annual Tarot & Divination Awards 2016, to rituals and contemplative work with the cards and Starlight Dragon Magick. Steph's practice of teaching and reading the cards is inspired by the methods of Tarosophy she learnt from Marcus Katz and Tali Goodwin and this reflected in the book, presenting a "Gated Spread" to get found by your own dragon companion and other advanced methods such as an introduction to working with elemental dignities.
