The cynicism of the comparison of the fire of Troy to the fire of love in the famous verse "Burned with more fires than I kindled" is accused. The honor of the victory over Troy will be "the eternal maintenance of centuries to come", Agamemnon however initially opposes the sacrifice of Iphigenia, she will not die, he cannot consent to it. An anonymous author parodies the Iliad, "Master Homer, very well advised in war".
