Eugen Egner, 1951 im Baden-Württembergischen Ingelfingen geboren, lebt seit 1955 in Wuppertal. Er hat sich als Zeichner u. a. für das Satiremagazin Titanic und die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung einen Namen gemacht. Neben Bild- und Cartoonbänden umfaßt sein Œuvre auch Romane und Storysammlungen. Seine Hörspiele wurden erfolgreich vom WDR und anderen Rundfunksendern ausgestrahlt. In jüngster Zeit betätigt er sich in Bands wie Armutszeugnis und dem Improvisationstrio Gorilla Moon auch als Gitarrist und tritt mit seiner 'Sparoper' Olga La Fong öffentlich auf.
