Description
Mexico City, early 1999. Twenty-one-year-old Bruno Bolado hasn't managed to finish high school and spends his days in a drunken stupor, fantasizing about writing a radio soap opera titled "The Hotel of Broken Hearts." Until one day, he stumbles upon what appears to be an Elvis Presley mascot hanging from a minibus and decides to follow in its footsteps, little imagining the chasm leading him into a murky underworld he's about to discover. He's led by a man named "El Agallas," who entangles him in a web of delirium, paranoia, and revenge, from which Bruno will never be able to discover how he got in or where the exit is.
