Nour-Eddine presents music inspired by and close to the musical tradition of the Berbers of the Rif mountains in the north of Morocco. A very spiritual CD with powerful, almost hypnotic Moroccan rhythms and ritualistic percussion as well as call-and-response singing. The instrumentation is traditional such as oud (lute), darbouka (drum), djembe (drum), saghat (finger zymbals), ghaita (oboe) and many others.
