Den Ausgangspunkt dieses Künstlerbuches stellt die Arbeit Zuneigung (2020/21) des Künstlers Markus Ebner dar. Sie besteht bislang aus zehn Kopien des gleichnamigen Gemäldes von Günter Fruhtrunk aus dem Jahr 1982. Um diese Arbeit herum entstanden fünf Texte – Essays und Erinnerungen –, die sich mit Fragen von künstlerischer Kopie und Aneignung, mit dem Spätwerk Fruhtrunks und Ebners Projekt auseinandersetzen. Markus Ebner, Maler, lebt in Frankfurt a. M. und Berg (Starnberger See). Er studierte bei Günter Fruhtrunk an der Münchener Kunstakademie bis zu dessen Tod 1982. So far, it consists of ten copies of Günter Fruhtrunk’s 1982 painting of the same title. Five texts—essays and memoirs—were written around this work, dealing with questions of artistic copying and appropriation, with Fruhtrunk’s late work and Ebner’s project.
