When Charles Bentley is asked by his new physician to visit her uncle in a senior community, he is reluctant to do so. Although he is seventy-five, Charles doesn't think of himself as old, and he looks with horror at the idea of ever living in such an environment. However, the uncle, who is a retired police detective, believes that murders are being committed there, and this motivates Charles to visit. After some investigating, he discovers that, although the uncle was wrong about what had occurred, a crime had been committed. As he solves the crime, Charles finds that the result will have a profound impact on his life and perhaps jeopardize his marriage.
