A major event for jazz fans in general and DUKE ELLINGTON fans in partiar.Here, for the first time, is Ellington's original 30 minute long studio recording of "Togo Brava Suite" in its entirety, plus 42 minutes containing more exciting, previously unreleased material recorded in New York around the same time (June, 1971) withthe same band. The "Togo Brava Suite" is the most rhythmic and most African of all Ellington's works. Partiarly great solo work is contributed by the saxophone section and the Duke himself on piano.
