The bond between La maison rouge and Nicolas Darrot is an old one. He was one of the first artists to take over the patio space with his monumental installation Passage au noir (2006). His work first entered the Antoine de Galbert collection twenty years ago.
This catalogue, which is both exploratory and retrospective, records the ambitious show of Darrot's work held at the foundation in 2016 and features many new productions combining a multitude of references at the meeting point of science, history, myth and literature.
