Deutsch: Im Sommer 1983 trafen sich Gino und Detlef zum ersten Mal in Malta und absolvierten ein paar Sessions. Gino kam nach Deutschland und das erste High'n Dry Line-up wurde nach einem Jahr und ausgiebigen Gigs in K?ln gegr?ndet. Da jeder der Bandmitglieder seine eigenen Projekte hatte, war vorerst Funkstille bei Hig'n Dry. Gino und Detlef blieben aber in Kontakt und Gino kehrte 1987 nach Deutschland zur?ck. Das zweite High'n Dry Line-Up entstand mit Joe Mizzi (voc), Gino Micallef (Bass), Markus Ulrich (drums), sowie Detlef Kowalefski (guitars). Nach diversen Gigs begann die Band mit den Arbeiten am Album "Hands off my toy!" das im Oktober 1988 ?ber Bellaphon ver?ffentlicht wurde. Nach Gigs im Vorprogramm von Iron Maiden und dem Loreley Konzert mit Meat Loaf und Marillion tourte die Band anschlie?end durch Deutschland und Frankreich. Englisch: Summer 1983 !Gino and Detlef meet in Malta for the first time, had a few jamming sessions together the following year. Gino moves to Germany and the first High'n Dry line up was formed after a year playing in clubs in Cologne. The members of the band went seperete ways, but after keeping in touch with Detlef in 1987 Gino returns to Germany after a few years playing London and the second High n Dry line up was formed with Joe Mizzi on vocals Gino micallef on bass Markus Ulrich on drums and Detlef Kowalefski on guitar. After a few gigs the band started working on the Hands of my toy album, which came out in October 1988 about bellaphone records. After playing twice Cologne with Iron Maiden and the Lorely concert with Meatloaf and Marrilion in Koblenz, a tour of Germany and France followed.
