Cinema Strings is a collection of String Orchestra scores written by Rebecca A. Drimmel. This collection of works are film inspired pieces with a wide dynamic range in expression and emotion through its melodies and harmonies. These scores are for the grade 4 string player. Each piece displays emotion like no other. Some of the songs in this collection are: The Painter, My heart overflows for you, Overwhelmed by Emotion and Don't want to lose you which have a slower tempo and more widely contrasting in expression. A tall tale, Autumn wind and On wings of adventure are more uptempo and the violins lead and the violas, cellos and basses lead in rhythm. There are seven pieces included in this book and there is a Conductor's score, Violins I & II, Violas, Cellos, Basses separate parts included. All seven pieces are very unique in their own way. I highly recommend this collection for any intermediate string player wanting to expand their repertoire and learn fun and exciting new music!
