When one of those beings learns of Dave, she decides to swing the pendulum of power to her favor. To achieve that end, she's determined she must kill Dave and steal his lightning. Only then will she be able to subjugate all Earthlings. With the other Offset Beings either unable or unwilling to help, Dave knows he's the only obstacle blocking humanity's doom. Now Dave must find a way control his PTSD, harness his inner energy, and stand up to a dangerously power-hungry otherworldly being.
