Dream catchers, the struggle for freedom

Dream catchers, the struggle for freedom

0 - Default Title
Description
The struggle for rights faces many difficulties, and in Brazil this battle is even greater. The race for citizenship is closely linked to the conquest of rights and freedom. Challenging traditions, politics, and power is no easy task for anyone, much less when it comes to a world such as artisanal fishing, where women are seen as secondary and submissive in productive relationships. However, this reality is changing, transforming the landscape of traditional fishing in our country. It is up to each of us to analyse this reality in an attempt to bring about social transformation in the pursuit of social rights. Challenging power requires courage and intellectual energy, which in turn requires a great deal of reflection and a willingness to break down the dogmas and prejudices that persist in our society.
