The archaeological yearbook of the city of Lübeck contains an editorial, an introduction, an annual report and four essays on archaeology in the city centre, an annual report and five essays on archaeology in the suburbs and rural areas, a report on a ship wreck recovered from the Trave river, and an overview of current exhibitions. The excavation reports deal with house remains in utility trenches in Mengstraße, new paths and old walls at construction sites in Beckergrube, preliminary investigations with well-preserved grave finds and a charnel at the Marienkirchhof cemetery, traces of the old museum and cathedral monastery with numerous burials, interesting grave finds from the cemetery of St. Annen poorhouse and workhouse in St. Jürgen-Hüxtertorallee, traces of settlements from the Stone Age to the present day at the Semiramis industrial park with a corridor house, wells and ovens, pipe laying with modern cultural layers at Niederbüssau, a subsequent development zone at Vorrade with a hedge wall and an old track, and preliminary investigations for a solar park at Moisling with Bronze Age urn graves.
