Critical illness polyneuropathy is not a new disease that occurs in the context of intensive care. Despite extensive research in recent years, its pathological processes are not yet fully understood. The consequences of CIP and its effects on outcomes and quality of life should not be ignored, so that more attention should be paid to preventive nursing measures in many areas.
