Vadim Delone (1947-1983) was the youngest among seven Russian dissidents who came to Red Square in August 1968 to protest the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia. This book is his prison diary, published after his release in emigration. The book was first published in London in 1984. The book received the Vladimir Dal prize the same year.
