He obtained his Ph.D. degree in the field of control of plant parasitic nematodes from Visva Bharati. He has wide range of experience in Applied Zoology. He has been teaching for long 20 years at UG level and more than 10 years at PG level. He has guided one Ph.D student and has published more than 25 research papers in international & national journals.
