This story was originally written by my maternal grandmother,Norma (Nana), whose imagination and creativity brought thisbeautiful children's tale to life many years ago. Although themanuscript spent years tucked away in a drawer, my mom, Alaine-Norma's only daughter-always knew it was there. The story wasa heartfelt token of love from Norma to Alaine, a reflection oftheir deep bond.Though Nana never had the chance to publish her work, I amhonored to share it with the world to keep her memory alive andto celebrate the love she poured into this story. I, Jennifer,have lovingly refreshed the manuscript and created theillustration outline to bring Nana's words into a new generation.Together-despite being decades apart-we have created ameaningful work of art that blends her timeless storytelling withmy vision and care. This book is a celebration of our connection,her legacy, and the enduring magic of family creativity.
