This novella is the first of a series of small-town contemporary rural romances. Ellie is a divorced woman in her early forties trying to rebuild her life far away from her farm home in upstate New York. She's moved to rural, small town Texas and decides to back back to work though she hasn't worked in a few years. Ellie's a former educator who's seeking to restart her life after a divorce and some health issues. Her stepchildren who she's raised are all grown up now and encourage her to date and find a new man which she just laughs off. Ellie goes to work at a local junior college as a teacher'/director of the GED/English as a Second Language (ESL) program there and meets and intriguing new man. Her Aunt Flo comes to visit form Colorado and stays a while, also encouraging Ellie to start dating and get out of her rut. The classes have some unexpected violence occur and Ellie and Noé do start dating. Mature 18+ audiences: graphic, coarse lanuguage in English and Spanish (though the book is written is English) and sexual content. No cheating. HFN
