The first edition of this guide was a first step towards making the “sport climbing” areas between Varese (in Italy) and Ticino (in Switzerland) better known. Since then, 13 years have passed, and new areas and new routes have been developed. Details of these have been published, both in printed form and in internet, and this has contributed to making the area fairly popular today, for both sport and trad climbing. The author has chosen to present a selection, still very extensive, of the possibilities for climbing that this vast area offers.Alongside the description of the additions to existing crags and new crags, the guide includes lots of multi-pitch climbs.
