- Default Title
Description
[Ambivalent relationships. Historical narratives and images of Judaism, Christianity and Islam in educational media] The image of Judaism, Christianity and Islam and of their mutual relationships has changed fundamentally in recent decades. The complex relationships and the associated processes of perception and transformation are both diverse and ambivalent, as they often involve the reproduction of stereotypes and dominance structures. The aim of this volume is to identify related narratives and images in educational media and pedagogical discourses. It thus presents new thematic and methodological approaches, as it primarily examines the relationships between religions in educational media and pedagogical contexts from the Enlightenment to the present day.
