In this story, the memory of the ghetto is divided into many dozens of human testimonies - direct, ingenuous and terrible. In the ghettos, as in the concentration camps, the Nazis sought to reduce people to such a state that they could hardly distinguish between right and wrong. According to their plan, man would turn into an animal, his soul would almost lose the ability to show normal feelings. But even in such a situation, many remained human, proving the greatness of the human spirit.Remembrance-sorrow, remembrance-hope, remembrance-warning - this is what the story is filled with, which, according to the author, will be perceived by the reader's heart.
