Keb Darge and Kenny Dope teamed up a few years ago to form Kay-Dee Records.Their mission was to expose to the world the plethora of magnificent yet unknown music they had both discovered through their years of hardcore collecting. Until now the label has been keeping only fellow vinyl collectors and DJs happy with a string of 7 and 12 inch releases. This compilation gives everybody the chance to enrich their lives with this eternal music, prior to the super DJs embarking on their first Kay-Dee world tour. Includes tracks by Brass Construction, Gary Davis, The Dap Kings, Rickey Calloway, and many more. The album artwork contains detailed liner notes written by Keb Darge.
