Après avoir traversé sans grands dommages les deux guerres mondiales du XXe siècle, Riquewihr vient d'entrer, plus pimpante que jamais, dans le XXIe siècle qui devrait être celui des restaurations les plus fières, des embellissements les plus indiscutables, des innovations les plus audacieuses. Vieille de 700 ans, cette vénérable cité comptera toujours assez de passionnés qui, par l'enthousiasme de leur admiration, continueront de lui faire mériter le surnom flatteur de «Perle d'Alsace».

After having survived the two World Wars of the 20th century without suffering any major damage, Riquewihr has shinier than ever - entered upon the 21st century, which should be one of resplendent restorations, embellishing it with the most daring innovations. With its history of 700 years, this venerable town will continue to have any number of enthusiastic admirers, so that also in the future it will well deserve to be called the "Pearl of Alsace".

Nach den zwei Weltkriegen des 20. Jahrhunderts, die es ohne großen Schaden überstanden hat, ist Reichenweier - schmucker denn je - in das 21. Jahrhundert eingetreten, das zweifellos eines der prächtigsten Renovierung, Verschönerung und Erneuerung sein wird. Mit ihrer 700-jährigen Geschichte wird diese ehrwürdige Stadt auch weiterhin zahllose begeisterte Bewunderer anziehen, so daß sie auch in der Zukunft die "Perle des Elsaß" genannt zu werden verdient.
