Produced by the acclaimed composer, He Xun-tian, this recording is another avant-garde musical journey. Dadawa's unusual singing style enhances the mystical touch to this adventure. Enlightenment in seven days, each day (each track of music) opens up a new realization as the listener experiences it. The music raises a new sense of hearing, a new source of affection, and a new physical experience. The Extended Resolution Compact Disc (XRCD) brings listeners higher fidelity and improved audio quality by enhancing the process of mastering and manufacturing compact discs. JVC uses advanced dither algorithms in their proprietary K2 technology and takes special care to transfer the analogue or digital source to physical disc. Every nuance of the performance is duplicated as it was recorded, with higher accuracy in both sound quality and imaging. All of this is done with the current CD standard, so no special CD player or decoding box is needed. A XRCD is priced about twice as high as a regular full-priced CD due to the higher cost of quality packaging, mastering and manufacturing.
