A Lone Crossing

0 - Default Title
Description
A Lone Crossing is a collection of lyrical poems for the times. Read and enjoy!
D.K. Somers has been a social worker for nearly forty years. His first training out of Columbia sent him to Massachusetts, where he studied and eventually taught alongside his teacher, mentor, colleague, and now dear friend, Dr. Dorothy Firman. D.K. attended Bennington College, Johns Hopkins, and Rice University with a strong emphasis on literature, psychology, music, and esoteric studies. He is a poet first, to himself, though few of his poems have been published. He paints but does not consider himself to be a painter. Rather, he thinks and moves in color. He has published a dozen or so papers but does not consider himself to be an academic. Rather, he thinks, feels, thinks, reads, thinks some more, and tries to be a coherent writer in whatever forum he finds himself in.
