Sonaten Für Violine und B.C. Classical

Sonaten Für Violine und B.C.

0 - Default Title
Description
The Sonatas reveal the more intimate side of Tartinis artistry, thus providing the ideal complement to the Concertos in the definition of the musicians artistic personality. These works, rich in creative flares and splendid lyrical passages, are no less difficult, technically, than the concertos, and contain frequent literary innuendos, or rather clear artistic hints. Tartini's violin, an historical instrument, is undoubtedly the most precious museum artefact from Giuseppe Tartini's legacy in his place of birth. Its authorship has been attributed to Don Nicolò Amati, violin-maker from Bologna, as evidenced by the signature ""p. Nicolò Amati fece in Bologna"" inside the violin and the record in the museum inventory book. The violin has been dated to the period between 1715 and 1725.
