Description
Crossroads of Conflict traces the experiences of Panama and its famous canal during the years leading up to and during the Second World War. Beginning with the expulsion of a German airline from a base in Colombia, it then follows Panamanian-American reporter Sam Diamond as he engages in counterespionage activities. The story follows Axis agents who attempt to disrupt canal transits and block access to a major airfield serving the Pacific Theater, and the dramatic finale shows a monster Japanese submarine attempt an aerial attack on Panama. The story features cameo appearances by filmmaker John Ford, actor John Wayne, and high-level officials of Panama and the United States.
