Dr Collins Tay is an accomplished Principal Research professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Environmental Science from the University of Ghana-Legon. He is currently a Principal Research Scientist with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research-Water Research Institute (CSIR-WRI). He is an Environmental/ Hydrochemist. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Chemistry and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Resources Management both from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He also holds numerous Post Graduate Certificates in his area of specialization. His primary research interests are in Hydrogeochemistry of water resources, monitoring of heavy/ trace metals and organic pollutants in water and related resources. He has over eighty (80) publications including over twenty (20) peer reviewed journal publications both in local and international high impact Journals in the areas listed in his research interests. He is a reviewer of scientific articles for numerous top Scientific Journals with high impact factors and an external examiner for graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Ghana.
