En proposant le thème Anima, Animal il ne s'agit pas seulement de revisiter l'une des sources les plus stimulantes de la création artistique et de la pensée.
Au moment même où s'efface l'ancienne proximité entre l'homme et l'animal, à l'instant précis où la notion de biodiversité télescope celle de la diversité culturelle, l'art, la création, la pensée sont à nouveau invoqués pour inventer une nouvelle façon de vivre, mais aussi de créer et, pourquoi pas, de rêver ensemble...
Our idea behind the concept of Anima/Animal is intended as more than a mere revisiting of one of the most stimulating sources of artistic creation and thought.
At the very moment where the former proximity of man and animal has melted away, at the precise instant where the notion of biodiversity merges with that of cultural diversity, art, creation and thought are once again invoked in order to invent a new way of living, creating -and, why not, even dreaming-together.
