Zigzag, oreilles de lapin, ver de terre, croco ou croissant, ces dessins reproduisent des formes que l'artiste sculpte habituellement en bois ou en marbre. Ici, les sculptures s'impatientent et lancent des onomatopées : zzip, pow, toot... Bref, en vrais personnages de cartoons, elles font le show !
Ready for an explosion of patterns ? Eager for a ride full of thrills ? Setting off with a bang, the artist Claudia Comte invites us along on her sculptural adventure. Zigzags, bunny ears, worms, crocodiles and croissants, these drawings represent the subjects the artist usually sculpts in wood or in marble. Here, the sculptures are getting impatient and spouting onomatopoeic interjections : zzip, pow, toot... Just like real cartoon characters, always ready to put on a show !
