This work began with the idea of using two methodologies for teaching mathematics. Malba Tahan and comic books were then combined, and an experiment was conducted to identify the potential benefits that these methodologies, used together, could bring to primary school students in the city of Coari, in Amazonas. The results exceeded all expectations.
