Die Autoren wenden sich unter ausgew?hlten thematischen Gesichtspunkten aus Theologie und Gesellschaft der Frage nach dem Personsein des Menschen zu. [Embodied Personhood]The category of personhood is a core indicative criterion for human self-understanding and highly relevant in theological and social reflection and practice. Human thinking and acting is always based upon fundamental convictions about the defining factors of personhood - no matter whether these convictions are explicit or not.The contributions of the present publication refer to the topic of human personhood from various, selected perspectives. They are deliberately interdisciplinary because of the wide range of meaning related to the concept of personality in theology and society as a whole. Particular emphasis is given to challenges and chances for human self-understanding with regard to the Christian concept of embodied personhood.
