She heard about the history of her Berlin relatives through their estate, which is preserved in the House of the Wannsee Conference. In addition to eight photo albums recording the lives of the parents and four sons between 1920 and 1942, there are 369 postcards sent by deported family members from Theresienstadt camp to their mother in Berlin.
