Au lecteur francophone comme au lecteur anglophone, ce dictionnaire permettra de découvrir, de traduire, voire de pratiquer dans leurs nuances les formes les plus parlées (et parfois les plus taboues) de l'anglais et du français.

Il inclut ce que l'on pourrait appeler «international slang», c'est-à-dire un argot - souvent d'origine américaine -, qui se parle et se comprend dans toutes les parties du monde anglophone.

This dictionnary will enable the anglophone as well as the francophone reader to discover, to translate, and ultimately to use the most everyday (and at times the most taboo) forms of English and French.

It includes what could be labelled "international slang", i.e. a form of slang, often of American origin, which is spoken and understood in all parts of the anglophone world.
