Manual for Army Horseshoers: April, 1920 (Classic Reprint)
0 - Default Title
Description
The horseshoers'' rasp (fig. 5) is used to remove the necessary amount of horn in the preparation of the foot; to even clinches; to make a slight groove under each clinch; to run lightly over the clinches in order to smooth them; and for rasping metal. The rasp that is used on the hoof should never be used at the bench: use an old rasp for working on metal.
