Binding the Wounds of a Quiet Church Girl
0 - Default Title
Description
In early 2024, I came off a very powerful medication that I was on for twenty years. I went through withdrawal twice as I came off it under medical supervision. It took being prayed for at the altar during Sunday service for my body to let go of it. During that time, I was barely functioning and, for all intents and purposes, lost my ability to write. My words were taken away. I had nothing I could stake my pride on. Truth be told, I never felt happier and just simply loved. God gave my words back to me as I recovered, for which I am very grateful, and it came with new passion and inspiration. But these words aren't about me, I am His child regardless of my ability. As you read, you'll understand that I've seen how fragile life can be. While I have my abilities, I'm going to use my words to show everyone, with utmost care, who God is and what He has done. I will fall incredibly short, but like a child with finger paints, I'm drawing a picture of my Father and bringing it to Him. What He does with it is up to Him.
This is a testimony and not my identity. My identity rests in Jesus Christ alone.
