La terminología de la discapacidad siempre ha sido y es un tema de conflicto dentro de nuestra sociedad, aunque no se haya profundizado en su invesitigación al abordar la accesibilidad dentro de los Estudios de Traducción. Por ello, en este trabajo, empleando una metodología basada en corpus, analizamos desde una perspectiva contrastiva (español-inglés) el uso que se hace de esta terminología en los medios escritos de referencia españoles y británicos, que nos permitirá observar su comportamiento, estudiar y analizar su fraseología, así como detectar su posible evolución e ideologías presentes en su implementación.
