Description
The main character of this tale is Dani, a little blond boy who tells us how one of his greatest dreams came true. Dani loves dinosaurs and although he knows only too well that they do not exist any more, he wants to have one at all costs. He is simply not satisfied with having a toy dinosaur or with the books on prehistoric animals his aunt has given him. Just as some of his friends keep pets of their own at home, he longs for a real dinosaur that he can look after and take for walks in the park. He wants his pet to be a dinosaur, in spite of all the problems having such a big animal at home would cause. Dani often goes for walks in the woods, where he sees many different types of animals, such as snails, lizards, beetles, squirrels and birds. It is on one of these daily walks that he finds an enormous egg. When the egg hatches, a strange baby animal appears: it is wingless, completely bald and has a very small head and a long neck. It was neither a cat, nor a dog or a hare, because it had come out of an egg... Of course, our dreams may or may not materialise; the important thing, however, is to have faith and believe that one day they will come true.
