Parents, please note that this book contains some depictions of demon possession and two instances of the phrase, "rot in hell," one of which is a curse spoken by one character over another. I agonized over whether or not to include these scenarios and this phrase, knowing that children as young as 10 years old would be reading this book. However, we cannot deny that we live in a sinful world. Many of our children are exposed to much worse than this during a typical school day. In the end, I felt it was vital to make it clear that the demonic realm is real and it is possible to curse someone, resulting in serious consequences because our words do have power. The Bible does not shy away from the truth, and neither will any book in the Sanctum of the Spirit series.
