Description

After a classical music education Florie Brown gravitated to Celtic fiddling although she also performed bluegrass, country, Cajun, blues and swing. For many years she was with Celtic group Golden Bough. She now teaches fiddle, makes music with her husband Bill Edwards and can be heard playing with Latin/Celtic harpist Christine Bonner and with the gifted singer/songwriter of Americana, Rita Hosking. On this album she is accompanied by Margie Butler (harp, bodhran, spoons), Paul Espinoza (accordion, octave mandolin, guitar) and Pablo Carcamo (guitar, bass, penny whistle).
