Description
This is the story of a life transformed, a soul who in finally finding herself-home-was able to transcend the past and understand her life from a spiritual perspective.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Brenda Laface, believing she should have been kicked out of high school as a teen, returned to pursue more education as a middle-aged, single mother of three. At university, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and the Humanities. During her undergraduate work, Brenda had an essay published in The Trumpeter: Journal of Ecosophy, and another success was in a year when she received a Mahatma Gandhi Humanitarian Award. Not yet ready for the real world, Brenda then went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. After working in the community and educational service sectors for a number of years, Brenda retired to a little house in Maple Ridge, B.C. where she was finally able to complete an autobiographical account of her life from a lost, alone, and terribly confused little girl to someone whose gratitude for the journey she has been on is unbounded. Although her adventures may read like a Greek tragedy, she feels like they were more of a Hero's Journey in Women's Studies. As such, she would like to welcome you as she travels back through time and offers a brief account of her life experiences and everything, she has learned from it all.
