God is love and the heart of God is revealed through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to forgive our sins, and to set us free from the negative effects of it. Galatians 5:1 NASB95 Our heavenly Father is love and He desires for all to come to Him and be saved by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. "16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17. By believing on Jesus Christ as Lord, we are delivered from darkness and eternal damnation. "13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:13 NASB95 True salvation has only just begun when we make Jesus our Lord and Savior! Through the power of Holy Spirit and the Word of God, the believer 22
is led by so much grace from the Lord. He heals wounded hearts and minds. He delivers us from bondage and evil. Our physical bodies can also be affected by our sin and the affliction of the evil one, Satan, and his demonic oppressors. These evil forces wage spiritual war against humanity, bringing mental torment, sickness, diseases, and deep pain.Deliverance means freedom from oppression, and inner healing to the spiritual, physical, and emotional levels of a believer in Jesus Christ. It is the way of God to not only save and deliver a believer, but to then empower this saint to go out themselves, and minister the same salvation, freedom, and deliverance to others found in any form of bondage. Jesus commanded His disciples to, "8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." Matthew 10:8 It is our desire that all who read this book would receive freedom and healing. That they would be equipped and empowered through Holy Spirit and God's Word. And go out in the ministry of deliverance with true Kingdom authority.
