Lucky 13 sees Fiona Boyes, winner of 2003's International Blues Challenge, building on her success as an acoustic performer to record a tour-de-force of electric blues, swing, rockabilly, and every style of blues in between. Recorded in Austin TX, Fiona is joined by a full band including special guests Marcia Ball, "Steady Rollin'" Bob Margolin, and Kaz Kazanoff & the Texas Horns. Boyes is a complete package as a vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter, as well as a tireless perfomer, having toured her native Australia with some of Blues' most legendary artists, including Bob Margolin, Hubert Sumlin, and Alvin Youngblood Hart
