During this time he has trained and shown high caliber reining horses in the US and Europe and been a NRHA Wold Champion twice. From 2010 he started concentrating on giving clinics and judging reining events. He has coached Wold-Futurity-, Derby- and FEI Champions in the US, as well as in Europe. To Don, Reining essentially shows off the skills and athletic abilities that were necessary in the working ranch horse and have now evolved into a high cliber sport. Reining has increased vastly in popularity over the last ten years, making Don even more proud to be part of those who pass knowledge on.
