Boozoo is a true American original and the originator of the heavily-syncopated, Afro-Caribbean strain of Zydeco so popular with younger bands in South Louisiana today--except that Boozoo had a head start, since he's been putting it on record since 1954. Boozoo's Zydeco is as raucous and rollicking as music gets. This 1993 recording was produced by NRBQ's Terry Adams.
