Father goat took over care of his seven kids when mother goat died in a road accident. One day they had to go out and look for food. They left the village only for the weather to change. There was heavy rain and they went into the den of hyena. Hyena was happy for the ready- made dinner he found in his home. He wanted to eat all of them but he had to be very hungry. He did a lot of exercises but by the time he finished, the goats had gone. This fable is narrated in some Gambian households.
